Recovery World / Company Profile The idea for Recovery World began in 2000. There seemed to be a gap in the market for selling Recovery Vehicles for operators and not just to them.
Operators want to keep their fleet up to date which involved selling vehicles. The thing is they do not always have the time to select the best advertising mediums, take the photos, deal with all the phones calls and viewing etc. It was felt we could offer a brokering service where we would do all of the above for the operators. As we didn’t buy the vehicles from the owners we had less financial outlay which meant our costs/charges would be low and we could get the best price for the owner. The sellers would get a good deal also as we would be engaging in trade sales as the transactions would be operator to operator as we were only acting as a broker. of the field in website technologies Recovery World and Tow Truck Mart were catapulted the forefront of used vehicle sales. With now over 150 vehicles on the site at any one time it has to be the largest collection of recovery vehicles in Europe if not the world. As demand grew the company became strained, by September 2004 we had increased our sales team by a staggering 100% to cope with demand and to increase market presence further by selling more vehicles based the North of England.
Due the sucess of recovery vehicle brokering we started looking at other industries which could benefit from this service. After much research we felt the horse industry would be receptive to our service.We can take of the hassle out of the time consuming task that is selling a vehicle and leave the owner to concentration on what they do best. |
